Activities
- Identifying and Recommending Contract/Tender Opportunities: We monitor and share relevant tenders with appropriate IHVN units and departments, supporting them in assessing feasibility and developing winning proposals.
- Commercialisation of IHVN Products and Services: This includes managing and expanding revenue streams through:
- Laboratory testing and equipment calibration
- Laboratory equipment maintenance contracts
- Specialised scientific training programs (e.g., statistical and epidemiological data analysis)
- Information Technology services
- In-house inventions such as Watersafe and Action Meal
- Managing IHVN-Owned Ventures and Facilities: We oversee and optimise business operations in:
- The IHVN Guest House
- The IHVN Cafeteria and Restaurant
- The IHVN Conference and Training Halls
- The IHVN Gym
- The IHVN Creche
- Seeking out opportunities to collaborate with other organisations within the organisation’s scope of interest.
- Collaborating with corporate organisations through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
- Idea Incubation and Business Planning Support:We work with internal units to conceptualise business ideas, write and review business proposals and marketing plans, assess financial feasibility, and provide support for the successful execution of ventures.
- Digital and Communications Strategy for BDU Ventures:We are integrating social media and digital marketing to promote BDU-managed services and facilities for improved visibility and profitability.
